After great success during the last presentation years, the Opera has musical direction and regency of Robert Duarte and artistic direction and conception of scene by Enrique Passini. "Aida" is a tragic Opera with four acts, and features music by Giuseppe Verdi and libretto by Antonio Ghislazoni. Its world-wide first presentation happened in the House of the Opera, Cairo, in December 24th of 1871.
Although some scenes and garments are from previous assemblies, there will be new conceptions and solutions. In one scene, "Aida" will have more than 200 components on stage, including animals as cows, oxen and kids.
The concert will take place on October 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th and 31st, always at 8pm. Tickets are available from R$15 to R$50. The recommended way to go to Palácio das Artes is by taxi.
