Barão de Cocais is a city located in the centre of Minas Gerais State. It possesses the typical architecture from the gold mining period with colonial houses and stone paths. The waterfall is made up of ten falls that drop down a 30-metre hill and end in natural water sprays and a large natural swimming pool.

You will depart on Saturday, with a guide, from Belo Horizonte's Railroad Station at 6:30 am, with arrival around 9:00 am at Barão de Cocais, where a van will take you to Cocais.
You will stop for breakfast before walking 4 km to reach the archaeological ranch named Pedra Pintada, where you will see many rock paintings.
Afterwards, you will continue on to Pedra Pintada Waterfall (1.5 km), one of the most beautiful of Estrada's Real Circuit. It is also the perfect spot for adventure sports such as waterfall rappelling. At the end of the afternoon you will return to the accommodation for a delicious homemade meal. Finally, you will return to Belo Horizonte by van.
