The rooms are spacious with elements that will refer to the typical "mineiro" features. For example in the decor details (such as the use of bamboo), cuisine (there is cachaça- a white Brazilian rum made from sugar cane- in the room's fridge) and in many other services.

The hotel has numerous trained staff, and multifunctional spaces. The Belo Horizonte Othon Palace has a convention centre with modern equipment, particular catering to the needs of those who work with business tourism.
A fact for those with a curious mind- before the hotel was built, there was a bar in the same spot, named "Bar do ponto". It was attended by the ex-president John Kennedy and other Bohemia lovers. This bar was transfered to Othon Palace‘s second floor and was surely a remakable place. You can still see a signs in memory of this historical fact.
The hotel is very well-equipped with an extensive convention centre containing a total of 15 rooms spread over four floors, plus three more rooms to support the capacity to host many types of events.
The Complete Business Centre includes internet access, a copier, printer and other office services. There are also two restaurants available for guests. One is located in the top level and offers a beautiful panoramic view of Belo Horizonte.
In addition, the hotel contains a gallery with souvenir shops, movie rental and a pharmacy. For your convenience, cable Internet is available in the rooms and wireless internet in the lobby. Other facilities include 24 hour room service, laundry and parking.
